The day I got my beloved iPad
I had waited for this day for months (well since announcement day) and was ridiculously excited. The few days before I had already visited the App store on iTunes and downloaded some apps ready for when i got my iPad.
I’m running the 10k for Diabetes UK in July.
Well, I have had Type 1 diabetes since May 1997 (13 years!). A few weeks before I was diagnosed I had a common cold, a week later my family noticed I was constantly tired and consuming high volume of liquids. They knew this was unusual so I was taken to the doctors who tested my blood glucose and saw that it was very high.
